During our recent family vacation at the Great Western Hotel, we discovered a conveniently located base in the heart of Aberdeen, well-acquainted with the area from my student days. The hotel is strategically positioned near event locations, which made our short stay particularly enjoyable. Traveling with our pet, we were pleased to find the hotel accommodating. The staff efficiently arranged a quieter room away from the lively rugby teams that were present during our visit, and they even notified us in advance of their stay. This thoughtful communication allowed us to better plan our family activities. The room itself was clean, with a comfortable mattress that provided decent rest, although we did find the temperature a bit warm for a good night's sleep. Nearby shops and restaurants provided us with ample dining options, and we enjoyed a lovely walk to Union Square for some shopping. Great Western Hotel is a family-friendly choice with helpful staff and the added convenience of nearby amenities. It certainly caters well to families looking for a home away from home.
